The first result of the research on the diversity of Hoang Lien National Park showed that this flora contained 2432 species that belonging to 898 genera and 209 families of 6 phylums of the vascular plants

The first result of the research on the diversity of Hoang Lien National Park showed that this flora contained 2432 species that belonging to 898 genera and 209 families of 6 phylums of the vascular plants and the next result were 5 new records for the flora of Vietnam (one monotype families, one monotype genus and 3 other new species). Magnoliophyta is most diversity in divisions; 10 richest families and 10 richest genera were listed. The fourth result was the diversity in the life forms of the flora that showed the tropical characteristics of this flora and next to the diversity of phyto-geographical elements shown out 23.6% of total species of this flora is Vietnamese endemic (including 5.02% of local endemic). The last result was the resources of plants, including 1053 useful species and 72 threatened species that had been listed in Vietnam Red Data Book, Red list of IUCN, CITES and Vietnam Government Decree 32.
